The stamping process involves the adding of color and texture to concrete, replicating the look of slate, stone, brick, wood or many other textures. The use of textured concrete products is growing because they are versatile, attractive, and very durable. Stamping can be done on freshly poured concrete or on cementitious overlay materials on both horizontal and vertical surfaces. Color is added with one or a combination of the following methods: integrally, a dry shake method (color hardener), reactive or passive stains, and/or release agents. Texture is added to the surface while it is still in a plastic state with impression mats. Verlennich Masonry & Concrete uses only the highest grade materials and products in our stamping process. All work in freshly poured concrete is reinforced with both steel and fiber and sealed to promote surface integrity and longevity. When choosing a contractor always ask to see projects which have been completed by the individual contractor's labor force. Skill level and product knowledge of all contractors will vary and it is always wise to find a one who can meet or exceed your expectations.
